Ms. Ra’oof, I applaud you! When I tell you your story had me feeling “some kind of way”; that’s an understatement. Thank you for sharing this privilege with me. I got Olivia; I understood her, oh too well. There were things that happened that actually brought tears to my eyes. Maybe I related? I don’t know. Maybe I finally understood and felt Olivia’s pain. I don’t know. There were things happening that caught me off guard! I loved that!!!!!! I actually made noises out loud! I wish I could remember everything, but I loved when Marissa said she couldn’t let Mr. Lowe go because SHE was in love with him. I absolutely love this story of redemption.

Any body who knows me know I love and appreciate a good book…whelp this is one of the most amazing page turning books I have read in a while…I cussed, I smh, got teary eyed, bite my nails, lol, and talked crap like the book was going to talk back lol..this is one purchase I don’t regret making not only was I entertained but I actually learned a thing or 3 from it… I’m currently screaming all the way from Orlando fl to Dallas Tx saying Jameelah Ra’oof-Author ‘U DID YO THANG HUNTY!!!’ And I’m proud to say I’m a fan now… keep moving up boo because more great things is sure to come….I love it I love it and I love it more!

Author Jameelah Ra’oof‘s novel,’Low Places’ captures what most could relate to but afraid to admit because of feelings of not being good enough for a person. I love the way the book captured my attention throughout the readings and allowed me to reflect at my own issues and why we tolerate as much as we do as women! Can’t wait to read more of her work, two words ,”LOVED IT”!!!!!
