AUTHOR.
Jameelah is an independently published author of three novels and one "how-to" book. She was born and raised in a small suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana, the youngest sibling of six children. Her exposure to the uniquely artistic culture of the city shaped her depth of character and story-telling abilities. "Writing is the one area where my confidence has never wavered, knowing that whatever flowed from my heart would be authentic." From writing poetry to short stories and plays, she ventured into nonfiction with the publication of her first book, How to Survive Financial Aid, a complex and under-exposed area of the college experience that came very natural to her. Jameelah's most recent project RE-SET, is a wonderfully told work of fiction which exemplifies her true dedication as a writer. "I love the passion and power writers possess, each with a unique voice that creates an opportunity to connect with a fresh audience just waiting for the chance to fall in love with their work."
EDUCATOR.
"I consider myself, a personal development junkie. I am not only a professor by trade, but also a career student. I can bring my A game to the classroom because I'm a dedicated life long learner. This is how I treat both personal development and academia." As a young student, Jameelah Ra’oof held a burning desire to be of assistance to those around her. She enjoys the privilege of helping others make decisions that will ultimately impact their lives for the better. Jameelah has volunteered, interned, and worked at just about every type of minimum wage job there is—all while attending college. She never got discouraged or questioned whether or not she would be successful. She understood that the only way for her to fail was by giving up altogether. Jameelah is an author, a writing coach, a Sociology Professor and an Information Systems specialist. She is passionate about incorporating her God-given skills and talents into her overall plan for success.

MOTIVATOR.
Jameelah is regularly involved in speaking engagements to inspire others. She has spoken on topics related to social sciences, college financial aid, Information Technology and Education, how to become an author and how to pursue and achieve goals. "I love to connect with people, share ideas and inspire greatness. I educate the masses through books and academia. My background is non-traditional, to say the least. It's my mission to show other's how to stop waiting on other people to approve of their plans and to instead find the avenues to create and market whatever they desire."

Jameelah's Youtube page and blog are devoted to inspiring people to design a life where they LOVE who they are and what they do!
